The ACS Collectors' Conifer of the Year (CCOY) program is now in its 21st year and keeps evolving. From the beginning, we have offered members the chance to add creative enjoyment and visual excitement to their gardens by acquiring distinctly unusual and interesting conifers, as well as the occasional striking ginkgo, a conifer ally. Additionally, CCOY sales have helped support the society's efforts to promote the utilization and appreciation of conifers.

For CCOY 2026, we are pleased to announce a program augmentation and partnering effort that presents excellent opportunities for all involved parties. Iseli Nursery in Boring, Oregon, is magnanimously donating a group of special plants to the ACS. In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Iseli Nursery is promoting the "Jean Iseli Legacy Collection." The late Jean Iseli was ahead of his time in establishing a specialty conifer nursery, and he was also very instrumental in forming the ACS. The choice, exclusive plants that honor Jean have all originated from the Iseli operations. Not only does the collection contain four captivating conifers, but it also features two special companion plants for the conifer garden.
