Calling All Volunteers: Floral Arrangements with a Conifer Twist!

We invite all meeting attendees to participate in a delightful activity: creating “floral” arrangements for our dinner tables. The twist? All materials used must be related to conifers! And yes, there’s a prize for the best arrangement.

Details:

1. Conifer Materials Only: Whether fresh or dried, all materials (branches, cones, needles, twigs, roots, etc.) must come from conifers.
2. Get Creative: Feel free to manipulate conifer materials—paint them, cut them, bend them—let your imagination run wild!
3. Size Limit: Your arrangement should not exceed 12 inches in any direction (unless it’s very transparent).
4. Timing: Arrangements need to be ready for placement on the tables by 5:00 PM on Thursday.
5. On-Site or Completed: You can either bring your container and materials to make the arrangement on-site or bring your completed arrangement.
6. Multiple Entries Welcome: Don’t hold back—create more than one entry if inspiration strikes!

Important Note:

• No Returns: Unfortunately, you won’t get your entry materials back. We plan to auction them off at the end of the meeting.
• Let’s Have Fun!: Think outside the box. Craft your own container, fashion “flowers” out of cones, go all-cone, or experiment with needles. Showcase the vibrant colors that conifers offer—whether in modern, oriental, or traditional styles. If you’ve never tried flower arranging before, now’s your chance!
