Upcoming January Presentations

The Central Region is excited to announce three additional January Zoom presentations. Each presentation will start at 1:00pm EST/12:00pm CST/11:00am MST/10:00am PST, last an hour and will be hosted by Byron Baxter. You are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions. Prior registration is not required. Details for the three presentations are as follows:
January 13 – Stanley Rowe Arboretum and Cincinnati Dwarf Conifer Society Jason Donovan will present recent significant improvements at the Rowe. Chris Daeger will provide historical information regarding the Rowe founder, Stanley Rowe, and the original Cincinnati Dwarf Conifer Society. January 20 – Lloyd Library Erin Campbell will preview the pre-meeting ACS program that will be held at the Lloyd Library on Thursday June 13th. The library is the preeminent Botanical/Pharmaceutical library in North America. The Zoom presentation will provide an overview of the library and provide an in-depth historical information on Ginkgo biloba. January 27 – Laura Akgerman Laura is a recognized presenter for the USDA and Ohio State University Agrability Program. This program helps farmers and gardeners deal with aches, pains, and physical limitations that come with aging and injury. Laura's expertise extends to knowledge of available ergonomic tools that help mitigate pain as well as physical adjustments for normal gardening activity that can be implemented to maintain the joy of gardening.
