The Marvelous May Maples and Conifers Weekend, hosted by the North American Maple Society and the American Conifer Society, will take place in Portland, Oregon, on May 16-17, 2025.  The event includes a nursery tour on Friday, May 16th, featuring visits to Iseli Wholesale Nursery (demonstration garden only), Don Schmidt Wholesale Nursery, Crowfoot Nursery, and Arbutus Nursery (plants available for sale at these).  Saturday, May 17th, will be a self-guided tour of four private gardens: the gardens of Jeffrey Herbst and Marjorie Erwin, Anton and Jill Klemens, Janet and Ed Roberts, and Gene Rozenboom and Randy Patton (lunch provided).  The gardens showcase a variety of maples, conifers, and other ornamental plants.
